Description: Charred Memories tells the story of Whitton, a small town in NSW Riverina.  The town was the first to have a rural railway station to allow farmers to transport their produce to the cities.  Whitton suffered 2 devastating fires which ultimately saw it’s demise.  Henry Lawson lived in Whitton for some time and wrote some of his well known poems there.
