Living Portrait

Description:
Working with artist David Wells and fabric artist Catherine O’Leary, the Living Portrait was a community interaction set up in the foyer of the Braybrook Community Hub. Visitors would be waylaid by either David or myself and encouraged to have a chat and get dressed up. In most cases we would dress them in a theme related to the stories they would tell us of their past.
The red thread linking the portraits symbolises the connectedness of community.
