Starlight Reserve Treasure Hunt Signage

Materials: Sitting Circle – recycled timber, quarry rocks, coreten steel firebowl, steel plaques, Art bollards – red gum, polycarbon digitally printed art boxes, steel plaques.

Description: These artworks were created in consultation with the local Wurrundjeri group, Historical society and Biodiversity team.  The signage shows aspects of the Reserve and how it relates to indigenous history and use of the land, the remains of a POW camp and the endangered species that reside in the park.  Visitors can read a “clue” at the sitting circle and then find the corresponding “treasure panel” throughout the park.
