My Little Piece Of Home

Description:

This street activation was designed in collaboration with local traders and the children from the South Cheltenham Public School.  The artwork is a game where fence posts are in pairs spread throughout the shopping precinct.  Each pair represents the household of the children who took part in the workshops.  The game is to find the matching pairs and on each post is the national flower of the country of origin of each parent.  In addition to the pavement design are 4 painted telegraph poles that house the native and exotic plants of the household gardens.
