Rodd Point has a strong history of Greek and Italian migrant families spanning decades. The furniture upgrade and design treatments reflect the household gardens of the Greek and Italian migrants and the plants they chose to grow there for cooking, decoration and to remind them of home. The designs are spread across, bollards, benches, planters, rubbish bins and a large dahlia graces the domed roundabout at the entrance to the precinct.
